Building on the vastly successful 92X Series, the 92XI SAO LCO delivers exceptional out-of-the-box performance and offers the user a competitive edge. One of the most prominent improvements is a Single-Action-Only Xtreme-S Trigger. This trigger is flat-faced, and all of the parts are coated with a DLC finish, resulting in an improved purchase on the trigger, a shorter pull, and a quick reset ? all of which greatly enhances accuracy and performance. Another notable upgrade of the 92XI LCO is a frame-mounted safety similar to the one found on the 92X Performance. The frame safety is ambidextrous, and allows the 92XI LCO to be carried ?Cocked and Locked?. To ensure maximum ergonomics, the 92XI LCO is equipped with a unique pair of Hogue ?Squalo? Grips named after the Italian word for ?shark?. The Squallo grips were specifically made exclusively for Beretta, and utilize a unidirectional aggressive texturing to deliver maximum purchase on the weapon. The magazine well has been upgraded to a Toni System flared magazine well to promote faster reload speeds, and (3) Mec-Gar 18+4 round extended magazines come standard.
